Making Grocery List

Typical wife, the grocery list maker. I love making it, but the problem is how to budget it. I am just a newbie in terms of budgeting groceries, we never did that for 5 years living with my parent's in-laws house. I'm sure you can guess why.
Now that were living on our own, we are the one's sustaining our needs already and so I am working on how to manage budgeting now coz if not, we will surely end up having credits in houston payday loan which is we don't want to happen. We just wanted to spent what we are earning.
I find budgeting groceries hard since it's my first time, but I am enjoying it. I am actually making one now for the next payday. We supposed to the list monthly but I guess it's better if we do it twice a month for some reasons like, to avoid the groceries getting expired and becoming rotten
It's only the groceries I am budgeting, imagine If I am in charge budgeting husband's salary? Oh that will surely makes me crazy. Good thing husband is doing it. Thanks to him! Lol.

Family Health Card

I have having a hard time looking for a health card provider for our family. We maybe have a tight budget but having a health card is one of our priorities before looking for a best life insurance. I am not hoping for my family to get sick but to be safe financially, we should have it right? There were so many kinds of diseases occurring now and we just wanna be ready. We don't know what might happen in the future so better have a heath card to save you from sickness and from damn expensive hospital bills and doctors fee.
When our family had our first health card in the Philippines, My husband and I took the opportunity to visit every specialized doctors like an E.N.T., Ophthalmologist, General Doctor, etc, and have us check just to make sure we're not having health problems. Imagine how much is the check up if you have no Health Card? One more thing that we love about health card is when hubby was hospitalized for a few days and his bill was more than 10 thousand pesos, thank goodness the health card provider reimbursed it. That is a big help right? I dunno, I am not saying we wanted to go to the hospital always, but I'm sure you understand what I am saying...it's always better to be prepared. Now, I am browsing some family health cards, searching what fits our budget. I am hoping we could chose a good one.

MM : Missing our DADDY =)

mommy moments

Hi there everyone...I thought father's day theme was last week ahahha daddy moments pala yun...mali title ko =)

Nweis, I don't have any post bout father's day coz I have posted it already. Just wanna dedicate this blog to my husband who's in US now.

Kids are missing their "daddy and kids moments" for few days now.... it's hard to be apart from your husband same with daddy from his kids. Husband said he's missing our kids already. He's so LOVING and CARING father to our kids. I'm sometimes sad because he's not here when his kids are looking for him, but I am trying to be strong for them, keep on saying to them that daddy isn't home yet but soon we will be together again there in US already. Been thinking positive for my kids. We wanted to be together already. We were missing each other so much. Hoping and praying that we process our papers already, approve our VISA and earn 'pamasahe' as soon as we can =) God Bless Us.

That's all!!! Again HAPPY FATHER's DAY to my husband and to all the father's out there!

My Brother's Graduation...Finally!

I can't imagine and I can't still believe my brother Jessie is already a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Restaurant and Management graduate! Yes indeed! He graduated just this morning with Me at Philippine International Convention Center =)

If you only knew how he surpass every trials that he had been through. He is the so called "black sheep" of the family. He is very naughty, very "pasaway", I thought he will become "tambay, lasenggero and yosi kadiri" guy forever (though he's still yosi kadiri and sometimes lasenggero till now, lols.), I was losing my hope for him before. He loses his track and I guess that's because we have no father to guide and look after him. I can't blame him for being like that before and I am very disappointed with myself as an eldest among 4 siblings for letting those things happen to him. Especially when he almost got killed. He was stubbed by his so called "friend", he was hospitalized for almost 2 months and I thought that was his end already. I am so scared losing another family member. Thank God he survived. I really believe God has given him another chance and so he did. One day, few months after he was finally checked out from the hospital, he told me he wants to go back to school. He's no longer ashamed of his age (he doesn't want to go back to school before because of his age) praise God!
I am a working college student that time, my salary is not that big but I know I can support my brother in God's help. He enrolled as 2nd year high school, I tried every motivation I could give him. I bought him nice bags, nice notebooks and pens. In God's grace, he finished until college! Thanks to my loving husband who's been very kind and supportive. He's my strength. He's giving me more courage to strive harder for my family. And now I can give my 100% attention to my kids and husband. Hope he could get a good job in the future so he could able to help our pamangkins. My other brother wants to go back to school also...hope he could pursue his dreams. I am still willing to help but this time, I should focus on my own family. Thank you Lord for your blessings and guidance all the time.
Congratulations my dear brother Jessie! I'm sure wherever our Papa is now, I'm sure he's so happy and proud!

Zoobic Safari Family Adventure

Two weeks ago, a week after our Tagaytay get away, we're in ZOobic Safari! Yeah we spent another weekend out of town. Not because we planned to go there, the truth is, we just had a chance to use MIL's (mother in law) innova. Hahahaha! MIL was out of town that weekend so we borrowed her car. We're suppose to go only in Ecopark in Quezon City but I suggested visiting Zoobic Safari now that we have chance of using the car. Zoobic Safari is a very fun zoo! This is the most entertaining and biggest zoo I've ever seen yet. I love the Animal shows they're rendering to all their visitors before having their tour. Their specialty were Tigers. There are lots of tigers there. They were sooo big! We as adults enjoyed every part of the zoo. I personally love the tiger safari where you can roam around the tiger's place. You were inside the cage instead animals in it. We were in a cage while inside the tiger's territory. I am just a bit frustrated because we didn't buy chicken to feed the tigers. Tigers didn't come near us because we don't have food to attract them. We were just looking on the other group feeding the tigers. That is so sad, we envy them so much but too late for they are not allowing us to buy anymore. We we're very concern at first of 200 pesos worth of chicken not knowing that it might brought happiness to our kids. I am frustrated...hope the next time we go there we will buy chicken already! Hays. Anyways..hope you guys buy chicken if you're going to visit these tigers.
At the end of the day, they have another set of entertainment...the ANIMAL PARADE where there are each kingdom's representative. The animals were all great and trained. They were lovely. I love to go back there sometime. Hope i could bring my nieces and nephew there too.

Early Summer Outing

Any plans for summer? We are planning to go to Ilocos this summer in God's permission...if we have enough resources. We are planning to stay in a hotel (just for experience) alone. Alone meaning we wanted to travel just the four of us, me, hubby and the two kids. Hope we could make it. We're wishing we could borrow a car so we could use it going to Vigan then Laoag then Pagudpud, Batac etc. We wanted to see the tourists spots in Laoag, my home for almost 7 years but never had a chance to visit those places.
Actually we already have our early summer outing last February, we we're just invited by my mom in law with her office mates. We went to Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club in Batangas and it's really beautiful! It's not fully developed yet but there are lots if things you can do already like kayaking, boating, snorkeling, swimming of course. Some amenities were still in progress for now, maybe the next time we go there again, one day will never be enough for more adventure.
Here's some of our photos during our stay......

Tagaytay Weekend Getaway

Just got home from Tagaytay....not in the plan, just came out in my mind since hubby wants to bring the kids somewhere and I suggested tagaytay =)
It was fun! My kids really did enjoy it! I also enjoyed it very much even the two hour travel is fun especially if you're looking at the surroundings after SLEX.
We arrived there exactly for lunch, the we rented 2 horses for an hour.
My kiddos love it! They love it especially when the horse is running fast. My kids are very adventurous! They love trying new things. Next with horse back riding is CABLE Car.
My kids enjoyed it too! I thought they'll be scared but NO! They are more excited than us and they were complaining because they wanted more! Gosh! I was very amazed with my kids. I know hubby and I were both adventurous but I never thought that in their age they could able to do such things already =)
I love it! I really love it! Hope we could try more new and fun things in the future! =)

Dreams...Dreams....Dreams....

I have lots of dreams, but I am not focusing on them yet coz there are lots of things I need to prioritize first. I can't name all of my dreams because they were too many. First I just wanted to have kids, and now that I have kids, my dreams and wants became more and more. Not just for me but for them also. I am so lucky having a very talented husband. Most of my dreams I already have were reached because of him. Why? Because if he's not talented we will not be able to have a life like this. Maybe for others our life is not that good yet compare to other families, but for me it's already perfect minus the fact that we don't have our own house and car yet. It's okay with me that we can't go have a vacation yet, we can't even go somewhere near not just this months ago, and thanks to my mom in law for allowing us to use her car. =) Some people saying I am hard working too, I know that! =) But even if I am this hard working, I can't still have such things without my husband's help. If I met a guy who's not taking home a good income do you think I can still have some good things for myself? I don't think so coz not to mention my case who's still helping my family, Im sure he'd probably left me already! My husband is so helpful. He's very supportive. He's allowing me to buy things for myself as long as I am earning too! ehehhe =) He's such a cool husband and dad. I am not saying he's perfect coz he also has some things that I don't want him doing. You know what I mean if you're reading my blog. All I wanted to say is that, I am so thankful I have CARLOS as my better half. A good father, a faithful husband, a good son in law and brother in law. =) I may got mad to him sometimes but above all those he's still my love, my life and my dream!

My Brother Is Finally Getting Married

My Brother Jessie James is finally getting married, after having a three kids with her long time live in partner Abegaile, their finally making it legal. We came from a poor family, my brother didn't finish his college that's why he doesn't have a better job. He's only a contractual crew that can't afford to finance even a simple wedding. My Mom doesn't have a job, I am already married and without a permanent job to help him with such things. Thank God, my Uncle Junior gave him some help. Now we can start planning and try to look foir other sponsors other things to be needed in the wedding. I think God will help find a way. My brother and my sister in-law to be were done with their marriage contract application and seminar. All they have to do is get rest, take care of their children while I'm organizing their wedding. Good luck to me!

My Birthday!
