Stay Simply Beautiful

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am a very low maintenance wife, I have my simple preferences and simple wants. In terms of clothing, I am not co picky and not into branded ones. Same with beauty products, actually, moisturizer for face and body and a lip balm is just enough for me. I am into moisturizers since my skin is quite dry.  I am using different brands too but I have finally found one god for me so I think I am sticking OLAY!

This is always what I am buying from Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products aside from the other products my family is using. This product is very affordable and  effective for me and I am loving it. Walgreens has everything you need so you don't have to go anywhere to buy your needs. Toiletries, beauty products and medicines, name it, it's there! One more thing I love about buying from them is the fact that every cents you spent to have your favorite products, it is an equivalent of helping them save form the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™ . It will provide free preventive health tests as well as other health and wellness services and education to local communities. Some of those services will include preventive health tests through the National Urban League Health & Wellness Tour and vouchers redeemable in select stores. Good stuff right? Spending while helping others.

If you are purchasing in Walgreens, you may also want to join their Walgreens Gift Cards giveaways! But if you're not it's okay coz you can still join. All you have to do is Leave a comment on the blog post about which Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Product is your favorite and Tweet out a message containing the URL of the blog post that they are entering through as well as the hashtag #walgreensbrand. And that's it. Youre in and you have the chance to win!

The Impact of "Thin"

Contribution by Stevie Kirby
I watched my favorite documentary "Thin" on satellite TV that I got after seeing this www.directstartv.com, for the first time a few years ago. It became my favorite documentary because my previous teacher was in it but also because I could really feel the struggle that each person went through. It was inspirational to see them try and overcome their fears since I have my own I suffer from. Watching Polly, Shelly, Alyssa, Brittany and the rest of the individuals go through their struggle helps others know their not alone and they can get help.
The ! movie stars individuals who are seeking help to overcome obstacles like anorexia. Some of them purge and binge, others have been feeding themselves through a tube. They all are afraid of losing weight and most have been this way for years. Brittany in particular had a mother with an eating disorder and they would chew and spit food together.
Alyssa is so inspirational for those who knew her past the movie like me. Seeing the movie really brought tears to my eyes because I saw her as a teacher and overcoming some of her struggles.
One of the highlights of the movie to me was watching Polly eat a cupcake for her birthday despite how much she didn't want to. Just proving that she can do it was inspiring. She fought the urge to throw it back up and it's a hard thing to face.

My Birthday!
