Lending Our Voices to Walgreens

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have been a long-time customer of Walgreens, but I had no idea that Walgreens and Express Scripts were negotiating on something. That is, until I discovered that their partnership has ended. In fact, Walgreens is asking for the support of their loyal customers. They probably need our support in their endeavors now that they are no longer functioning as part of Express Scripts’ pharmacy provider network.

Do you have any idea what would this mean for people who are under Express Scripts? For Express Scripts users who get their medications from Walgreens, this means they now need to look for other pharmacies. These pharmacies may be a couple of miles farther from where they live. This is very different from when Walgreens was still partners with Express Scripts. Then, customers could access Walgreens’ drive-thru pharmacies 24/7.

This whole incident is very frustrating, especially to military men and women, as well as Express Scripts users, because they are the ones who will suffer the most from this unfortunate turn of events. Still, Walgreens is trying to do everything it can to still help many by offering Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens membership fees for both individuals and families at discounted rates. This is good for the whole month of January.

We can make others know about this and lend our voices in support of Walgreens by following Walgreens on Twitter or by liking the fan page of Walgreens on Facebook
